Rebuilding of Crank Shafts

Cold crankshaft rebuilding for severely damaged shafts with guaranteed reliability.

Cold Rebuilding of Crankshafts

High-Precision Restoration for Critical Shafts

When crankshaft damage is severe, Tanna Cranktech offers fully computerized cold rebuilding with temperatures below 90°C to avoid stress. Ideal for high-precision shafts like alternator rotors, this process restores OEM tolerances, ensures longevity, and comes with a one-year warranty on the rebuild area.

Comprehensive Crankshaft Rebuilding Solutions

The Rebuilding of the crankshaft becomes necessary when severe damage or cracks are observed in the crank pins (CR pins) or main journals (MJ), and repair is not feasible using available undersize bearings or for certain diameters where under sizing are not allowed . In such cases, the crankshaft is deemed unserviceable and stands rejected. To salvage these crankshafts, rebuilding is the only viable solution. This process is carried out by us by using fully computerized, imported equipment, ensuring precision and consistency. The rebuilding method employed is a cold process, during which the crankshaft temperature never exceeds 90°C. This ensures that no thermal stress is induced in the crankshaft throughout the repair cycle. This advanced rebuilding technology is particularly suitable for applications where shaft under sizing is not permissible—such as alternator rotor shafts or shafts fitted with roller bearings where no reduction in diameter are permissible & repairing by re building is the only solution .

Reliable, High-Precision Rebuilding

The rebuilding process guarantees dimensional accuracy, long-term reliability, and stress-free performance, making it suitable for marine, power, and industrial applications. Each crankshaft meets OEM standards, enhancing engine lifespan and efficiency.

Clients benefit from reduced operational downtime, improved component durability, and cost-effective solutions, ensuring engines maintain consistent performance.
